DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN GRADO Depending on the arrival time of the group,
there is the possibility to integrate today's programme with a visit to the
surroundings area, such as

Manin (the last Venice Doge's Villa), Sesto
al Reghena (in this city of ancient
origin there are a number of interesting sites, including the Abbey which
can be reached after crossing a stream, the Basilica of Sesto, Villa

DAY 2: BARBANA ISLAND (GRADO GO) Breakfast in Hotel. Departure by ferry-boat to BARBANA ISLAND (GRADO) from the "mill run" of Schiusa (Canale della Schiusa). Arrival on the Island and visit the Sanctuary of Maria and the Convent. The Sanctuary is dedicated at the
Madonna.

| DAY 3: MONTE
GRISA (TRIESTE) Breakfast in Hotel. Departure by Deluxe Coach to Trieste. Visit the "Sanctury of Monte Grisa", which was built after the Second World War. It is an important Sanctuary in this area from where you can enjoy the beatiful scenery of the Gulf of Trieste. Lunch in a characteristic restaurant. In the afternoon, walking tour around the city of Trieste: the "Borgo Teresiano", the "Rive", "Piazza Unità d'Italia",the "Canale and the Roman Theater. We will see the "Colle di San Giusto" and visit the "Cathedral". Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight. |

DAY 4: CASTELMONTE (PREPOTTO UDINE) Breakfast in Hotel. Departure by Deluxe Coach to the "Sanctury of Castelmonte" in Prepotto (UD). Castelmonte is a medioeval Castle that is famous for its Sanctuary of the Holy Virgin, and an important place of pilgrimage. Situated on the border with Slovenia, it was also an important defence position (the hills around the sanctuary - the hill that the castle stands on including - having numerous armoured observatories and machine gun) lookouts. Time free for individual visit of the Sanctuary. Lunch in a typical restaurant in Cividale del Friuli. In the afternoon visit of Cividale del Friuli. |

The origins of this town, date back to 50BC;
in this year Julius Caesar
founded the city who was called 'Forum Julii'. Its origins have made the town of great interest to tourists. Monuments to visit here include the Devil's Bridge, the Medioeval House, the Monastery of St Maria in Valle, the Cathedral and the Christian Museum, the Longobard Temple, the Orsoline Nativity Scene, the Celtic Hypogeum and the National Archaeological Museum. Religious buildings to see: the Cathedral of St Maria Assunta, the Church of St Silvestro, the Church of St Maria dei Battuti and the Church of St Nicoḷ. Return at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight. |
